Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir

Past prime, but hanging in there. Alcohol is a bit prominent.

Exquisite nose. Crushed raspberries, rose petals, and wet potting soil. Palate is lengthy, with tart cranberries, excellent acidity, and youthful finish. 375ml sample bottle.

Darn good, great tannins.

We had the 2017 Vintage on 12/2-3/22. This is a good PN. Fruit forward and medium bodied. Black cherry and spice on the bouquet. Bing cherry, strawberries and baking spices on the palate. An easy drinking wine

I believe this is my first bottle from the Fort Ross Seaview AVA.

The nose is gorgeous with fresh berries framed by floral, herbal, and earthy elements. On the palate it’s lively yet refined, with juicy raspberry and cranberry leading the way. Soft integrated tannins.

Drinking alongside the Sea Smoke Ten of the same vintage, this beauty certainly stands on its own, and actually offers a deeper and more complex nose. Just a lovely Pinot!

Delicious. Incredible easy. Not amazingly complex but I’d never say no.

Good, briny seaside Pinot noir. Very lively fruit with a good backbone.

Nothing like the real Pinot baby. I'm listening to Marvin Gaye. Anyway citrus, Rose hip, dried herbs, and mushrooms is what I'm tasting. Nose of gun smoke sans James Arness. Color Ruby red. A winner.
