Que Saudade Verdelho

Yellow fruit, loads of minerality and a bit of funk. Kind of like that over-ripe banana with some acidity. Uniquely interesting.

Pale gold color. Fruit and mineral nose. Tart, sour exotic fruit, over ripe bananas, a bit of heat on the finish.

Waxy, candied kumquat. Oily texture but nice acidity. Gulpable.

Sweet blossom and honey. Or was it sweet honey and the rock? Either way it WAS singing, @forlornhopewine

Nose and palate is ripe and exotic with notes of melon, pineapple, orchard blossoms, white peach, marshmallow, wet rocks, creamy pears, and soft lime notes. Palate has this balance of richness in texture and zippy acid. I don't drink enough verdelho to compare to OW but this reminds me of great chardonnay with that broad back palate and viognier with the lush texture. Super delicious. Paired really well with gnocchi w/shallots, spring herbs, cream, and parm.

Bright yellow in the glass and bright on the palate. Excellent acidity, green apple notes, some minerality. Very tasty and refreshing.

I was disappointed. It was interesting and tasty but not super wow.

Great value. Perfect with a steak.

Awesome! Soft, mineraly, with subtle fruit like Meyer lemon. A hit with the dinner guests this evening.

A little tropical, with honeydew.
