Aldehydic when first opened. Better a couple days later. Became more varietal.

Full body and full of stone fruit. A touch more acid would be nice. Great with goat cheese!

I'm not partial to this particular varietal, but this outfit did the wine justice. I got a bit of a astringent petrol, a sweetish/semi dry orange 🍊 blossom honey, along with bruised stone fruits. I decided to score up by 1 point on account that it went really well with our thai inspired garlic & pepper sea bass meal last night!

A good venture into Upstate New York wines....of any grape that might do well in that cold climate, it's Riesling. Lacks the depth I look for in this noble varietal. Green apple, lemon peel, a medium finish but not very aromatic. With time I started to taste cotton candy, but really, if you're gonna drink Riesling just go for the off the wall experiments. This is a safe new world wine
