This is a "wow" wine. The fruit is lovely with notes of black cherry and cassis accented by brown spice tones. The tannins are superb wit lovely cherry and cherry pit flavors. Great Sangiovese austerity with mineral and fruit on the finish. This is mature but will keep.

20 years old and still so young, with vibrant fruit, an incredibly silky texture, lovely acid. Some stewed fruit that grew younger and fresher with 30+ minutes of decanting. Black pepper, smoke, tobacco, and more tertiary flavors on the palate. Finish does not last forever but it keeps you going back for more. I doubt this will evolve more so would drink up, but it will last for at least a few more years.
