1) 3 hour decant, still tight and tannic and not worth drinking.
2) 4 hours, some characteristics and potential present but decided to leave it overnight. Back in bottle and cork.
3) 17 hours, shows a lot more character, red fruit and truffle on the nose, deep, tar, liquorish, acidic, tannic finish. Still has potential so leaving for another few hours.
4) 28 hours, still didn't open the way I was hoping. Not a bad bottle of wine but was expecting a lot more from a 20 year old Barolo.
