“Piedmont’s answer to Beaujolais nouveau”, drinking nicely now after three years. Plummy characters from Dolcetto and bright red cherries presumably from barbera carry through. Licorice, sage, and thyme. Some organic earthy funk. Bright acidity and medium plus coarse tannins. Medium plus body.

On structure it’s NW Italy, but it’s more quaffable like Woodbridge. Fun.

Fresh and medium bodied with nice acid fruit, some leather, and light tar. Not very tannic, super drinkable, and a bargain for 1 liter. From Good Wines.

Nice but not anything to rave about. Drinkable, yes. Chuggable, yes. Value, yes.
Complexity, color, and class, missing a bit.

Oh my! The Nebbiolo shines through! Great fruit and licorice up front. Fruit and earth tones from the region. Dolcetto and Barbera are hinting some berry flavors. And my favorite, muleberry at the end. Very good, GIA from Langhe.
