This was a nice, comforting wine to drink way too much of on election night.

There is an aluminium screw cap and I'm sorry but I will never get used to it, especially for red wines.
The nose is very lovely with red forest fruits and small red berries. There is a bit of a mineral thing too lurking in the back which I have issues to place, maybe a bit of limestone. The palate is well balanced and shows a relatively mild acid backbone, lots of fruit and texture, a lively mouthfeel, with a nice energy, almost no tannins, if any they are just drying up a bit, a rather spherical mid palate and fruits, fruits and some more fruits in the end for quite a bit. Not complex, not special but very easy going and nice to sip on.
