When people ask me where I would choose to live anywhere in the world, the answer is always Piedmont. Just so I can drink Barberas, Nebbiolos, and Barolos constantly. This 2009 Fontanafredda Barbera is a rather sexy little number that packs a lot of spice and cinnamon in the bottle. Absolutely delicious, make sure to decant for around 1.5 hours to really bring out the flavors of the fruit to the forefront.
