Strawberry, cherry along with almond, licorice and another vegetal thing I just can't place. The palate is very well balanced with a monster of an acid backbone, some red fruit shining all along, good width with some nice grippy, vivid mouthfeel, very lively, pointy tannins that kick up a very long finish with fruit and almond. We paired it with a splendid 45 days matured beef spare rib of bœuf de Galice on the barbecue. A pairing made in heaven.

2013. A great accompaniment to steaks. Hints of tobacco and leather with dried fruits.

Boozy. Fine acidity. Light. A bit boring.

Great wine took about 3 hours to fully open. Bright cherry and tar with thick tannins. Despite being a strong wine this can still be enjoyed now but 5+ years and this wine will be drinking gracefully.

Roses and dark cherry on the nose. Ripe cherries, tar and iron. Well balanced with lingering tannic finish.

Just an excellent and balanced red with beautiful blend of fruit and tannins. Not a bad value at World Market! :)

Delicious, well rounded with just a touch of acidity, but quite smooth. Would drink this again!!
