Founded by Bill Foley to realize a dream to produce world class wines in Santa Barbara County, and in 1998, he purchased 460-acre property, planting 230 acres of vineyards. Dark in color with aromas of sweet ripe berry fruits with a touch of oak. On the palate cherry and cranberry flavors with tobacco, oak and earthy notes. Soft tannins, good balance on lingering finish ending with notes of earth and pepper spice. Nice.

Dark color, berry taste. Nice wine with food but heave in alcohol.

Fruity aroma with noticable plum overtones with hints of oak.

What strikes me is how this medium/light bodied wine is so supple; and gracefully glides through my pallet. I'm particularly fond of the hints of vanilla that tickle the back of my pallet.
