Tonight's wine at dinner is the 2012 Foley Pinot Noir. On the nose we get strawberry, cranberry, some cola and some forest floor. On the palate I am getting a good boysenberry, sour cherry, wet stone, red raspberry and a touch of carmel. Medium mouth feel, medium acidity, and medium soft tannins. A nice drinkable wine.

Jun 30th, 2017Super tricky Pinot to blind taste - about the only thing I got right was that it came from Santa Barbara. Dry and not overly fruity, I thought it might have been Grenache.

Jul 1st, 2016A delightful Pinot Noir, full of red fruit aromas with hints of vanilla and earth. On the palate, pleasant acidity, well balanced fruit and wood. This wine showcase flavors of ripe cherry, vanilla, crimini mushrooms with hints of cranberry on the finish. I love Pinot Noir and Pork!
