Deep gold. Ripe yellow tropical fruits and orange juice on the inviting nose. Echoed on the medium palate which layers in fresh and dried stone fruits. Bright acidity balances the rich tropical and oak elements. Balanced like a Burgundy but with New World richness. The one to drink when your food wants New World but you have an Old World palate. Drink now.

An expressive Chard from the Russian River Valley AVA in Sonoma, CA. Very vibrant, powerful on the nose with yellow apple, and stone fruits, as savory as it can get on the mid-range of the palate exposes an abundance of Kumquats, spices, baked nectarines. Solid texture, creamy, toasted (aged in French oak) and very persistent finish. A typical Sonoma Chard. A bit too oaky for my preference, but admit it that is wonderful.

Toasted marshmallow, not too oaky. Weird slight bitterness on end?
