Lacrima di Morro d'Alba
2010. Really interesting indigenous variety. Some unusual fruits, some earth, great with food. So many Italian varieties, so few meals to enjoy them...

Nov 9th, 2014For $23, this wine drinks like so much more. Incredibly round. Initial dark cherries followed by earth, flecks of tart and mineral, but ultimately a clean, smooth finish. I almost don't want people to know about this wine. Exquisite with a summer slab pie!

Jun 16th, 2015One of my new favorites. Perfectly paired with a strawberry and blueberry pie from Noble Folk in Healdsburg, CA. Fresh fruit galore in this bottle!
