Interesting varietal. Vibrant purple color. Dark fruit (cooked) aromas and flavors with accents of mint, roasted meat and dark chocolate. Hint of spice and wild herbs (thyme, fennel, rosemary) on the very long finish. Dense, rich and full bodied. Dusty tannins. Powerful and complex, yet quite elegant. I would love to try this one again in a few years.

Wanted it to be a bit smoother and longer, but still really enjoyed it. Probably needed to open it up a bit first.
