Good. Hard to get this type of beer made well. This is not woodsy or muddled in grain. Good, rich, balanced.

One of the best Black IPA's out there, if you do not try this, you are missing out on something so special, this beer set the bar for the style, outstanding!! Big west coast hops with massive amount of citrus and tropical notes, pine, and roasted hops added, Fantastic!!! Now Langunitas has NightTime, and Green Flash has Road Warrior, also outstanding beers, but this really set the bar, with be nice to see what comes next in this style

Well this was a nice little surprise. Nice big full bodied dark ale with an IPA kick. Not a tricked up Guinness like some others I've had in the past but a refreshing change to the bazillion IPAs out there right now.
