Central Coast Merlot

First few sips were harsh but it mellowed out later.

Very smooth, deep crisp fruit, had with pizza

Dry flavor, minimal sweetness at first, no finish. Needs to open up for more crispness

It’s a Merlot. Mellow sweet and subtle.

Berry start and cocoa finish. Pretty good for a grocery store find at the price.

Fruity and dry but a little lacking in boldness.

Bright and slightly tart.

Smooth and jammy, with notes of berry, almond, and cocoa, with just a whisper of pepper to prevent it from being cloying. For the price, a super supermarket find and great for a weekday supper! Or drunk.

F@$k Merlot! Lol very one-note plum but for 5 dollars would be a great BBQ wine. I would choose this over most 20-30 dollar cabs.
