Manchuela Bobal

Interesting pairing at Acamaya in NOLA. Paired really well with acidic food. Opened up nicely. Some earth and mellow red fruit.

tasty: light ruby/garnet, semi-opaque with pretty nose of red fruit like cherry, cranberry, currants, rhubarb, some pepper & baking cocoa - needs air, palate is med(-) w/lively acidity - some Bobal can have jolty acidity, this was nice, balanced with red fruit & pepper on the mid palate leading to decent finish. clear bottle, drank w/pizza
