Though it's not as peppery as the Rioja I usually enjoy, this mellow Malbec was quite mild and serviceable for weekend bachelor meals of kebab and pizza takeout. Lower acid, lower tannin but nice balanced, lingering dried fruit notes. I think it actually improved on second night.
