Although this winery falls within the limits of the DO Cariñena in Zaragoza, the grape is not Cariñena, rather a blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Toasty aromas and flavors of black cherry, balsamic, dark chocolate, with mineral notes of wet earth and leaves. With ripe, sticky tannins and firm acidity, this has an excellent aging potential. Cool bottle, too!
