Light burgundy color. Taste of Dark cherries. A bit tannic. Dry finish. Excellent. Paired beautifully with a butternut squash risotto. Glad I bought 3 bottles. Would definite buy again. I did decant. Unclear about one reviewer who said the wine had a funky smell. That was not my experience.

Dark cherry, caramelized meat on the nose. Dark cherries and rasperries accent the herbaceous, savory palate: thyme, oregano, licorice, cocoa, grilled ribeye. Quite tannic, so decant.
