Fielding Estate Winery
Fireside Niagara Peninsula Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
Light bodied wine. Initial nose has herbaceous aromas, hard candy and leather. Cherries on the initial taste. As wine opens up, Cab Fran influence is apparent. Back palate finishes with a slight bitter note.

Nov 13th, 2021Great red nose to it. On first sip, it was tannin forward which it's not what I expected from a cab sav blend. Very oaky, it's not bad but would go well with some red meat or some cheese. It was a decent wine, but a little all over the place.
