I'll be the first to admit I have a developing palate, it seems the complexity of this wine was lost on me. I got something between dry leaves and compost on the nose. I did get some spicy and fruit notes while tasting but it was muted and I don't know if I'd get this again personally.

Molasses and tart fruit nose. Strawberry and cranberry on the palate with a tart acid finish.

Deep red color. Tart fruit nose. Starts with cranberry and finishes with strawberry jam.

More intense stewed fruit on the nose. 18months neutral oak. Some tannin, spice, alcohol. Punchy and dark fruited. Good bang for buck.
