Jul 24th, 202424/15/12/10/9/7/7/6/6/4 blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Carignan, Touriga Nacional, Charbono, Corvina and Barbera. Inky purple red, lots of pigment extraction. Plum, prune, black cherry, black currant, blackberry flavors with lots of seed character and a eucalyptus finish. Despite that, medium seed tannins, not astringent really, just cool black fruit heaven in your mouth.

Aug 10th, 2021Dried black fruits and mesquite on the nose. Very powerful and deep palate. Alcohol is a little high but the wine doesn’t finish hot. Really good!

Jan 31st, 2021This is a well made wine. Great balance of fruit, acid, alcohol, and oak without being too pushy in any direction. Not my go-to style, but a tasty, balanced blend.

Juicy and energetic, it shows very good depth. Gentle, rounded tannins frame a long and focused finish that leaves sweet cherry and cassis notes behind. $20.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, April 2022)
