Clean, dry, surprisingly light in color for the age... who the hell drinks 8-year old SB. The wine is smooth, silky, balanced...displaying ripe quince, pineapple, kiwi notes...no sign of grass or gooseberry. Elegant food wine. Ok, still not my fav grape, but delicious foil for Shaking Beef and Chicken Gyozo.

Prominent pineapple notes and heady floral aromatics, like lemon and orange blossoms. When the baked apple and almond notes slide along is around the time I turn the bottle around to find out it's spent time on oak. Not a style I'd return to soon, but very interesting.

Delicious tropical fruit, very crisp with mouth watering acid. Perfect with Parmesan crusted flounder.
