Ruby with aromas of sweet ripe berry fruits with a touch of oak, aged 46% in new French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tobacco, oak and earthy notes. Soft tannins, good balance on long finish ending with notes of earth, fruit and pepper spice. Nice.

Jun 5th, 2022I prefer my Pinot on the leaner and lighter side, but this is too delicious to snub. Deep, brambly, almost inky, with well integrated acid and alcohol (14.1), concentration and structure. These are things that 15 years ago I would not have said about a Fess Parker pinot noir. A serious, well made wine.
