Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

I'm sure this benefited greatly from being paired with steak. A crowd favorite. Good acidity and fruit. Better than the last one I opened for sure

All the elements I wanted: big fruit, hearty acidity, present tannin. Thanks to Colin and by extension Tim B. For finding this inexpensive brunello producer.

Over the hill! May have been due to poor handling, high heat. Tasted like a 1960 bottle, which was fun but not delicious.

Plummy and rich. Some acidity, but not enough for me. Pairs fine with steak. Better than run-of-the-mill wines, but not the best brunello.

spiced, acid, not easy to drink

a little spice and tasty. A peu plus d'alcool.
