The 2019 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is an absolute delight. Bright, fresh and beautifully lifted, the Sonoma Coast Chardonnay brings together so many of the elements that make the Ferren wines so appealing. Orange confit, spice, white flowers, mint and chamomile are all laced together, framed by bright saline notes that invite a second taste. Terrific. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, June 2022)

Very very good! Not quite as minerally as I’ve found other bottles to be but still stellar. Rich and full bodied with loads of complexity, beautiful stone fruit and a tremendously pure finish.
contact me directly to get some!!!!

Has everyone tasted these wines? Stupid good. It's like white Burgundy meets California. I love the ripe but pure fruit. Mandarin orange, quince, lemon oil. It is nicely framed by oak but in now way dominated. It is just pure pure pure. Minerally and precise but richness that you find in Peter michael, kistler and Aubert. Lots of dry extract and a bit of reduction to boot. Serious Chardonnay. The single vineyards are even better. Message me for some at a killer price but also get on this list before it turns into a waiting list. Winemaker is a former marcassin alumn and it shows

Matt Courtney killing it at Ferren. Other than Marcassin, which Matt used to make, my favorite Chardonnay. Killer nose of petroleum, white flowers and citrus. Buttery, silky texture, with a mid palate of beeswax and sparkling peach. Sort of like those poppers candies. Llloooonnngggg finish. Seriously prodigious stuff.
