This is a new release from the team at Ferngrove in the Great Southern's Frankland River region. Introducing the new 2015 Majestic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Orchid Range. This vino spends approximately 14 months in oak maturing where it also undergoes malolactic fermentation (turning the tart malic acid into softer lactic acid). RRP $32.

Deep ruby red colour on the eye with plenty of spice on the nose. Think liquorice, black jelly beans and cassis with a lick of vanilla oak. In the mouth it's smooth and juicy with lovely elegant lingering tannins - it's like a dry version of Ribena for adults. It's incredibly easy to finish a bottle of this Cab VERY quickly.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine

Surprisingly mellow! Nice complexity, and will pair well with many meals.

Classic! Good use of oak to compliment the black current fruit. Good tannins. Enjoyed over two days.
