Better of the two old Riojas - initially this didn’t show as well but after an hour very cool wine! Freshness and tannins still there in a very elegant form! 😊

Reddish ruby with brick rims. Dark. Very floral in the nose. Dried brush, blackberry, wood, and smoke. In the mouth everything works together. Great with smoked ribs.

Look beyond the initial barnyard funk, and this is gorgeous - earth, red cherry, American oak dill and spice. Medium weight palate with pure bright fruit and juicy, plush acidity. Long herb cherry finish. Youthful. Gorgeous.
