What a nice classic Burg of balance, finesse and unassuming power. Medium straw color, blast of white flowered minerals and acids right off the bat and good texture and length. A relief from previous oxidized white burg. Great with Evan’s honey garlic shrimp, Sandeep visit. Held up well in Cali bottles. Last one for Amahs CNY dinner 2/1/22.

Clear medium lemon colour.

Medium(+) intensity of lemon and fresh fig aromas, secondary of butter and cream from malolactic fermentation, biscuit and brioche from lees ageing, smoke, cloves and toast from oak.

Dry on the palate with medium(+) acidity, full body with rich, creamy and viscous texture. Long finish.

Developing wine, outstanding quality. Drink it now, not suitable for further ageing.

CVed 9/11/17. Reticent nose with minerals and flinty and stones and fruits. Palate of balance and medium body and long acidic finish. Color crispy golden and still have the heft. Opened 1/20/23! Drinking perfectly fine! Steely nervy character shows through.
