Satén Franciacorta Brut Chardonnay

Pale gold. White blossom, green apple, pineapple, 100% Chard, SS fermented, 36 months on lees, free run and first pressing kept separate. Medium+ acidity, short finish.

21 year old Satèn Franciacorta tasted at the winery. Brioche and honey on the nose with a palate that is more youthful than you might expect. Texture is faintly waxy. What a treat.

Wowzers

Bright, fresh fruit, long.

Silken, fine, persistent, sumptuous, but that soft mousse though #vinodalproduttore

Lives up to the Saten description, smooth and a lighter sparkle. Crisp apple, barely ripe pear, and creamy on the palate. @ Massimo Camia

This wine excels for the complex, layered build. The mastery shows in controlling sugary and yeasty notes and delivering a full, round experience to the nose and the palat.
Good perlage, attractive color, will not disappoint the connoisseur and will attract the less expert drinkers.
