One of the Wines of the day for me. Thanks Leo. I don’t normally drink much Central Otago Chardonnay (usually buying the Pinot Noir) but this was brilliant. A certain amount of sulphidic funk together with lees stirring makes for a complex nose. Medium to full bodied with excellent balance between the fruit and mineral elements. Superb. Must seek out in the future.

Luxurious, creamy, with hints of butterscotch and hazelnuts. Singing acid keeps the weight in check. Incredibly well-made wine.

2012. Guessed oaked sauvignon. Sharp acid, maybe very low or no MLF n oak is there. Nose of white flower. A complete wine. Drink.
