Fausse Piste
Super MSG Red Rhone Blend
Very interesting wine... Rhone mix from Columbia valley with the character of cru Beaujolais ... Lots of heady fruit on a light frame. Cherry, some blackberry, herbs and spice. Carbonic feel. Nice! Enjoyable.

Oct 14th, 2017Deep purple in color with a medium + intensity on the nose of red fruits (ripe red cherries, reduced pomegranate sauce, red plums) baking spices (cinnamon, cloves) and toast. The palate shows a rich medium+ flavor intensity of red fruits (red cherries, plums, raspberries) black fruits (currants and blackberries) with savory notes of (pepper, cedar, earth, smoke) with well integrated tannins. There is an oxidative baking spice note that gives great complexity and depth the the wine. Plus, how fun is the pun?
