Uber vintage meets Uber old school producer. Great concentration, black-almost blue color, with cassis, blackberries & some sweaty locker room & gamey notes on nose. Quite smooth & textured on palate, with the gamey ness & black fruits more pronounced. Kinda bear- like emerging from hibernation. Decanted briefly (45/60 mins) but curious how a longer decant would unspool this beast. Accompanied a roasted grapefruit whole chicken & celery salad w various oils.
