Sep 30th, 2023Mid to dark crimson in colour. Aromatics of dried cherry - quite savoury. These notes carry through to the medium weight palate finishing with some bitterness and astringency. 80%Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Merlot designed to soften that under ripe Sangiovese fruit - doesn’t quite do the job. This wine needs food like a strong cheese. Nothing to write home about.

A lovely version of this great Q/P ratio Tuscan blend. Drinking well already and if you can source it at a good price, get a case a follow its evolution over the next 4-6 years.
