Stringaio Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon

This wasn't the Sangiovese but a blend of Syrah and somethings else. Was ok

80% Syrah + 20% cab = 100% fantastic.

Full bodied, great with food and does not hide behind the flavors of you meal. Dark, rich, fruit & tobacco. Very pleased with this 2011 Vintage.

2nd bottle - still damn good! Not too dry with soft tannins. Hints of tobacco and cherry highlight the dark purple color. This will be even better with time.

Nice body with notes of licorice and leather.
