Aglianico del Taburno

Nose: jam, ripe blackberry, blueberry, spice, oak. Alcohol, bold, a bit on smoother side, medium acid. On dry side but not super dry. Fig, cinnamon, jam, cherry. Nice wine but not my favourite.

Not great, a bit dry, meh

Dark cherry, balsamic, rhubarb, purple flowers, some hamburger meat rub.. don't know what's with the negativity on the wine. Good example of aglianico. $25

A good standard of Aglianico, plenty of tannins and moderate acidity. Dark fruit and spice with some earth. Definitely needs food even after a 1 hour decant.

Deep rich and brick plum jam, mint & tobacco...shows age even though is young..a crowd pleaser with attitude and personality.

nice drying tannins. full bodied. some good acid. good with spicy pasta sauce. buy again.

Pretty full bodied. Leather, spice, crushed roses, with some good acidity. A bit alcohol forward. From Flatiron Wines.

Nice light, crisp white. Incredibly drinkable.
