I tried the first one of this case I bought a couple years ago and it was still tight and very young. This one seems tired a bit. It took a long time to open up and when it did you have the wonderful flavors and finishes of violets and poached fruits, and Some good chewy, kind of forest floor and herbal spice going on. But then after another hour or so it just got kind of bland like it oxidized too much. Granted it could be me, but this producer and vintage just kind of seems to be all over the place.

Wonderful juice! Nothing fancy or showboating here, just great fruit, soil and all the layers flavors you’d want. Blackberries, dark underripe cherries, smoke, tar, cedar and espresso beans. Great acid and tannins but not distracting or tiring.
