Browned butter, caramel, toasted pecans. Evaporates on the palette leaving diaphanous notes of caramelized buttery joy. A Chianti masquerading as a sherry. One of the most delicious wines, or liquids for that matter, I've ever tasted. First had from the winery in Tuscany. Will always be a favorite. 2005 vintage

Nutty, toasted almond, honeysuckle, dried apricot, dried yellow raisin. Slight oxydized quality. Went well with Ai Fiori's Mousse al Gianduja.
