Browned butter, caramel, toasted pecans. Evaporates on the palette leaving diaphanous notes of caramelized buttery joy. A Chianti masquerading as a sherry. One of the most delicious wines, or liquids for that matter, I've ever tasted. First had from the winery in Tuscany. Will always be a favorite. 2005 vintage — 9 years ago
When I had it, it was chilled which I thought was weird because it was a red wine! But SOOO good! — 11 years ago

We are enjoying a 2001 vintage in a darling authentic Italian restaurant - Il Contadino - in Delray beach Florida. Take your time to let it open up - and prepare yourself for bliss😘 — 10 years ago
