2010 vintage. Such an awesome and electric expression of Verdicchio. A rich and flashy style from Jesi. The energy of this wine is something to behold, as is the label.

This is my first verdicchio. Bought in Rome on the suggestion of maybe the best bartender I've ever met. Good summer wine. Strong pear notes, faint apricot and grass. No trace of citrus. Surprisingly high alcohol level (14.5%). Light bodied, balanced but without the sharp bite you sometimes get from a really crisp white.
