Stracacio 2014.
frankly I was expecting more complexity and strength on the finish. However a good and interesting Verdicchio. I loved the limestone nouances on the nose. Feeling quite oaky even if apparently it didn’t rest on oak neither on skins. I’d have appreciated a way or the other. This isn’t a Natural, neither a conventional wine. — 4 years ago
At first light sour flavor of grapefruit, lemon, with hint of limestone, then fresh pineapple spread vividly. Vigorous acid and charm fruitiness, nice mineral. — 11 years ago

2021 autumn. This is a special bottling for the vintage, made with botrytized fruit, but the effect is subtle and enhances, rather than dominates, the character of the wine. There’s some lush apricot and honey to go with the typical salty, mineral, flower and almond notes. — 3 years ago
This is my first verdicchio. Bought in Rome on the suggestion of maybe the best bartender I've ever met. Good summer wine. Strong pear notes, faint apricot and grass. No trace of citrus. Surprisingly high alcohol level (14.5%). Light bodied, balanced but without the sharp bite you sometimes get from a really crisp white. — 8 years ago

Had this a while back. Very nice with haddock. Had that almond- like quality- dry and flinty. Lighter than many other verdicchio I’ve had. — 8 months ago
