Inland, altitude Sangio and dark, thick Sagrantino complement very well. Ripe, exotic cherry, red plum, tobacco leaf, menthol.
Palate delivers even with a cut-off, over extracted finish.

2007. Seriously chewy. Ripe cherry, some mint or menthol and red dust. A little large for red sauce, but I'll suffer though it.
