Carmella vineyards as used by many including realm cellars, has an amazing body and finesse to it from coombsville. Very surprised I have not tried this Ava much.

Premiere Napa Valley bottling of Terrace Reserve. This Farella was opened with some really good company (07 Lokoya Veeder, 07 Verite Muse, 07 Revana), and IMO it was either 1 or 2. The nose of this one reveals some black and blue fruits. Entry of this wine has blackberry power, but then settles to more of a truffle and black tar in the middle. Gives way to herbal notes which gives this wine a very good complexity that really outdid the Lokoya and the Revana which were more about Napa fruit-forward power (was very similar in style to the Verite quite honestly). Finish has resolving tannins. Toasted oak finish although still rather tannic for its age. This wine is drinking very well right now, and probably is in the prime drinking window for the next 3-4 years. If you have these, drink 'em up or let them sit but not too long!
