Famille Perrin
Réserve Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with blueberries, cherries, sweet strawberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, light vegetables, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, cherries, black currants, oak, licorice, spices, coffee, pencil lead, earth, vegetables and peppercorn.
Medium plus on the finish with fine tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a simple red blend from Southern Rhone. Good right out of the bottle and better a bit chilled. Gets a little bitter as it opens up, with more earth and vegetable notes.
A good everyday wine and good for parties.
A blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre.
Good by itself and better with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats, cheeses and grapes.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
85 points.
$12.
