Beautifully full, berry fruit and cedar, nice length, very satisfying. Crowd-pleaser New Years Eve. 2013 vintage.

A lovely wine that has something at the beginning, middle, and end. Great structure and balance. Superb value at this price point. Made Wine Spectator Top 100.

A little lack luster upon opening tastes a bit dehydrated sounds weird but honestly if you taste you would get it lol... Opens up on about 30 min a little jam very little almost sugar free like haha a light to medium Pinot qualities not the best Malbec 😝@TheSkip you seem serious about your wine I like that .... With that said this wine was a company wine I was trying out to see if it was OK for company LOL not sure I could allow my reputation as to do so haha

Very interesting nose of spices, purple flowers and cherries. Bright red plums, cherries and blueberry (some Malbec blended in?) on the pallet with a bit of peppery spice on the finish. Lighter bodied than expected (less ripeness?) but still silky and bold. Fresh. Thank You, Ron B.

Very balanced wine that goes well with food. Not too sweet, not too dry.

First and foremost I want to express my deepest sympathy to everyone in California who is battling or has a family member effected by the wildfires. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone; it is unfathomable for me to realize as in the Midwest we never encounter this type of tragedy. I will update my tasting note after aeration...I regret and feel quite guilty to not be drinking something from California given the circumstances but we do not have a bottle that is ready to sample yet....This wine takes some time to open up... not very fuity...more earth driven..enjoyable wine!
