Lemon tart/custard, strong oak, but bone dry citrus dominated palate. Not much weight, lingering finish, slight mineral undertone.

May 28th, 2015I rarely drink Chardonnay or any white wine, so I struggle to evaluate the wine, but here goes. Friday is fish day, right? In my rather significant inventory of wine, I could only find two whites... a champagne and this Chardonnay. The nose is pear and raw potato. The pear weakens upon tasting and gives way to grapefruit and green apples and maybe unripe apricots. I think wine is okay plus!
