This distinctly laid-back, understated Viognier - Fairview has been picking these vines earlier in recent years - eschews exotic peach and apricot ripeness for dusty citrus peel, subtle florality and a hint of oak. Smooth, dry and food-friendly, it finishes with firm shape and good grip. (ST)
