2018 vintage opened May 2021. Raspberries and briars on the nose. Dried currants on the front of the palate. Medium tannic structure with a silky mouth feel. It finishes quickly though with some mineral high notes. I’d give it more points if the finish were longer. But this wine is delish. It’s ready to drink now, and I expected to be drinkable for the next five years — but I don’t think it’s going to evolve in complexity.
