A touch of brett but still enjoyable.

Smoky with blackberries and toasted spices on the nose. On the palate dark forest floor with ripe blackberries a hint of cola and spine of refreshing mineralogy that balances the rip fruit perfectly. The forest floor and liberality are characteristics that keep me coming back to the glass. Wish I could see more of this in new world Pinot noir because the complexity is so much more interesting. The minerality persists for a long finish. I was worrried that this might be last it’s peak but I was pleasantly surprised. 2009 vintage on 7/12/20
